Lord’s Mark Industries and Kerala Automobiles Ltd (KAL) have signed a joint venture to manufacture electric vehicles. The manufacturing facility will be set up at KINFRA Park in Kannur, Kerala, and will be operational within 6-8 months. The partnership aims to create a greener and more environmentally conscious future for the country. The Triton Electric Cycle will be launched on October 2, 2023, from KAL’s Thiruvananthapuram facility. The government may consider providing subsidies to Kerala citizens purchasing electric cycles and vehicles.
