Store Incharge - Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Plant

Role Overview: As a Store Incharge in our Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the plant’s material and inventory management. Your role involves managing the storage, issuance, and tracking of materials to ensure smooth production processes. 

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records for all raw materials, components, and finished goods.
Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile any variances.

Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials. Verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders. Communicate with suppliers to address any discrepancies or issues.

Storage and Issuance: Supervise the proper storage of materials, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Manage the issuance of materials to production units as per the production schedule. Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to minimize material obsolescence.

Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all transactions related to materials. Generate regular reports on inventory levels, consumption, and order status.

Team Management: Lead and supervise the storekeeping team, providing guidance and training as needed. Ensure a smooth workflow and optimal productivity within the store.

Vendor Relationship: Cultivate positive relationships with material suppliers and negotiate favorable terms. Collaborate with vendors to streamline delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve storekeeping processes for increased efficiency. Implement best practices in material handling, storage, and issuance.
